Summer Reading Program 2003

These posters publicized the schedule of the Summer Reading Program offered by the Fargo Public Library as part of a national campaign. The theme for 2003 was "Laugh it up at your library," and many of the humorous illustrations are incorporated into the posters and the playful colors and shapes also evoke a sense of fun. The schedules are divided into those events at the downtown library, located near the Red River, and the Southpointe branch, which was in a new development in South Fargo at the time, hence the stylistic separation of the two in the posters.

これらのポスターは、全国キャンペーンの一部としてファーゴ市立図書館が実施する夏期読書プログラムの予定表として作った。2003年度のテーマは「図書館で笑っちゃおう」で、多数のキャンペーンの滑稽な絵をポスターに含んで爽やかな色と形状が楽しいイメージを出す。催しは、レッド川に近い本館で行われるものと当時ファーゴ市の南部の新しい開発にあったサウスポイント支館でのもの分かれたので、ポスター上で文体的な区別が見える。
