This project's aim was to better understand typography by researching its history and emulating certain styles in the creation of promotional posters.

Renaissance

This broadsheet for a fine art auction demonstrates the preference for formal aesthetic beauty over consideration of syntax.

Futurism

Apropo to the chaotic energy of the modern age mirrored in Futurist works, this typographically illustrates the 1914 assassination of Archduke Ferdinand.

Dada

This advertisement for a series of theatrical performances simulates the seemingly anarchical compositions of the time.

Constructivism

Order can be found in the work of Constructivists of the twenties and thirties, of which this poster for a media arts show is modeled.

美術品の競売を宣伝するこのビルには、当時、統語法に従うことより形式的な美意識に任せることが好みだったのを見せる。

未来派

未来派芸術家の作品に近代社会の乱暴な活力が反映されることを、このポスターはタイプで適切に1914年のフランツ・フェルディナント大公射殺事件を表現する。

ダダイズム

この演劇シリーズの広告ポスターは当時の無秩序かのような構成を真似る。
