Non-Indigenous Species 2004

The aim of this project was to create nine 9 square-inch modules that would be combined to form a cohesive 27 square-inch poster for a conference or event covering the intrusion of non-indigenous species in an ecosystem. The treatment of the text references the stripes on bees, with size and color meant to lead the reader's gaze around the poster. The swarm of bees in the background comprise the actual area Africanized honey bees currently inhabit in Central America and the Southwest United States.

課題の目的として九つの９平方インチ（約22.8平方センチ）のモジュールを作って、それらを組み合わせると結束した27平方インチ（約68.5平方センチ）外来種問題に取り組む会議や催しのPRポスターになる。文字は蜂の縞模様をたとえ、色とサイズの変化によって人の目がポスター中を勇断される。背景に見える蜂の群れはアフリカ化ミツバチが中南米とアメリカの南部において実際に生息している領域を示す。
