This screenprint whimsically appropriates an insult I imagine heard at least once by people named Bill in their youth. At the time I made this print, I had been spending a great deal of time perusing magazine and newspaper adverts circa the fifties and sixties and was interested in recreating that look for this faux advertisement for gentlemen's vibrators.

Billと呼ばれる人は子供時代に一度は言われたことがあるだろう侮辱「Billdo」をこの作品に面白く使おうとした。これを刷った当時、50〜60年代の雑誌や新聞の広告を良く見ていたので、それらの雰囲気をこの紳士向けのバイブレーターの模造広告に再現してみたかったである。
